Did you know the Veterans Administration has an improved pension program that includes a basic benefit that is open to many low income Michigan veterans or their surviving spouses?  Unfortunately, as a Michigan Veterans Benefits Lawyer, I see too many people, including Veterans, who are unaware of the program.  To be eligible for the Veteran Pension, a Michigan veteran must meet the income, net-worth requirements, and serve a minimum of 90 days in the military during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, or the Gulf War.
